Reach to Teach 2013! A Benefit for the District 62 Foundation

Reach to Teach 2013

Here is your chance to make a difference and to ensure the quality of a District 62 student's education.  We invite you to share an evening with us and reach the teachers of Des Plaines CCSD 62.  All you have to do is enjoy an evening with friends - can it be any simpler? 

6:00PM	Reception
Enjoy complimentary champagne and a cash bar while 'shopping' for unique and useful silent auction items.  Try your luck at many raffle prizes and mingle with other supporters.
7:30PM	Dinner is served
A full course meal prepared by skilled chefs and served by professional waiters.  When you register for the event, please indicate your choice of one of the following delicious entrees:
Chicken Picatta:  Scaloppini sauteed with white wine, lemon shallots, and capers Orange Roughy:  Broiled filet with a seasoned breadcrumb crust presented with a champagne-tarragon sauce Spinach & Feta En Croute:  Sauteed spinach and Greek feta cheese baked in a flakey puff pastry and served with a tomato sauce

9:30PM	Closing of the Silent Auction

 

Funds raised from this evening will be used to fulfill grant requests received from Des Plaines School District 62 professional staff.

In 2012-2013, the District 62 Foundation was able to fund 28 grants totalling $21,000.  The Foundation also funded 14 student scholarships to Young Entrepreneurs Academy or YEA which is sponsored by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce.
